                      1. Magrathea
                        from Hitchhikers
Magrathea is an ancient planet located in orbit around the twin suns Soulianis and Rahm in the heart of the Horsehead Nebula. It was the home of a new form of specialist industry: custom-made, luxury planet building. Hyperspatial engineers sucked matter through white holes in space to form dream planets - gold planets, square planets, glass planets, platinum planets, soft rubber planets with lots of earthquakes - all lovingly made to meet the exacting standards that the Galaxy's richest men...

                          Fit the Third
                          from Hitchhikers
Fit the Third is the third episode, or "fit", of the Primary Phase of the original radio series. It was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on March 22, 1978. The episode begins with a narration describing the significance of Magrathea, a planet that long long ago manufactured custom-designed planets for the galaxy's megarich. Due to its immense success, Magrathea became the richest planet in the galaxy and the galactic economy collapsed. Ford and Zaphod argue about the accuracy of this legend, Ford...

@kat Don't miss the unfairly maligned #TV series. It came after the radio, LP, novelisation, towel, etc. and is IMHO the most polished version. Apart from the low budget and lacklustre direction. But oh! The "computer" animation! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbWAwynNf-0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuumnjJWFO4 #H2G2
