Someone isn't instantly "good" because of a single identity label in that whole alphabet soup any more than someone isn't instantly "bad" for it.

Anyways probably going to get called a TERF at least 500,000 times for that Manning comment ... maybe I should just go for broke. If someone's going to pillory me as some sort of cartoon supervillain I might as well earn it.

If you compare the two ...
Snowden was consciencous about his disclosure, generally seems alert and aware about the issues around his disclosures, and has been pushing the advantage to further reduce the surveillance powers that he opposed.
Manning basically disclosed everything without a care, spent most of the time in front of TV cameras, and has been using the press attention to increase her own personal power.
One of those people's acts was virtuous. The other was selfish.
I'll let you decide which was which.
