      Maybe a technique such as this could be used to defeat pervasive CCTV surveillance instead of all the makeup that people commonly resort to.

            Yes, I was thinking if we can at least defeat the automated surveillance. Automated surveillance by machines is what makes surveillance so inexpensive.
