Someone wanted to convert a pdf file with vector graphics to eps. After searching in the internet, here's what I did:
    #pdf2ps <input file> <output file> %Part of ghostscript
    #ps2eps <input file> % This is from TeX distribution

I wonder if I can convince that person to use this as it involves commandline.

Alternative means failed when I tried
    1. inkscape seems to ignore italices
    2. imagemagick rasterizes the image (I wonder if there is a way to prevent this)

imagemagick, AFAIK, always rasterizes images before any processing. You can increase the quality of rasterization, but it will always rasterize. In any case, it is command line only, and fails your criteria.
