    Genetic programming occupies a section of solution space together with blockchains, machine learning, content-addressable networks, semantic graphs and zero-knowledge proofs that makes me go man I wish I had a commercial excuse to dive into this stuff.

    But I think genetic programming stands out as the one where I would be the most clueless as to how you would even conceptually arrows-and-boxes-level go about designing anything that made any practical sense.

      @clacke Some years ago I wrote a C library for genetic programming, called libgpr. I also use it in an art program called Paintatron.
