Just did my harassment training yesterday. It's hilarious how arbitrary and ridiculous harassment laws are. Hear a joke with sexual innuendo - harassment because it might make a protected class (women) uncomfortable. Inform your manager. Hear a joke mocking southerners or Trump supporters - not harassment because southerners or political affiliation aren't protected classes. Proceed as usual.

@JimDMac The question to ask is 'Protected by whom?' "Gub'ment" is the usual answer, but those decisions are obviously political.
Anybody who says it's okay to "otherize" one person but not another based on political whims is a hypocrite.
