@webmind @pettter Groups live on a certain instance, so !foo@example.com is distinct from !foo@bar.com. Groups are also more about getting posts on a certain topic further out into the fediverse than just to your followers.

Just getting introductions on your instance into a specific "feed"/column sounds like a client-side filtering thing to me.
