   Good: In Norway, $65k/year is an average wage

   Bad: In Norway, a third of that is taxes, the other third is rent (if you want a decent apartment within the metro area of a city with more than one room and no roommates) and the final third is food, transport and other boring stuff. For the fun stuff, you're going to have to save up, or take up a loan.

      @thor I think that's always how it works out. Housing cost always expands to fill the space.
