i wish i could annotate my code with more than just comments, when youve got more than a couple thousand lines of code it just ceases to be memorable, it all looks the same!!!!! i want to be able to paint things specific colors, arrange all the blocks of code on a big 2D canvas, draw shapes around them, etc.

It comes at the issue from a slightly different angle, but comes to the same conclusion -- how we code today, just rows and rows of text on a page, has to change, because the size of codebases we work with is quickly becoming too large for most people to visualize.
