a new thing, html custom element. now arbitrary tag <xyz>something</xyz> is officially sanctioned by standard. currently at non-normaltive (meaning, not in spec) status.

does anyone know that if we can actually use custom element extensively?
(don't care for old browser. i just want to use custom tag with css for appearance, to avoid repeatition of div.)

@xahlee I don't think this is new - it's been part of HTML for as long as HTML has been mixed with XML, i.e. the XHTML standard in 2000.
