LazyPower@angristan I know your feels of frustration wrt reboots for meltdown and other oddities. On Friday my job's IAAS host rebooted some firewall instances that kernel panic'd on the reboot phase, and we were hard down for 3 or 4 hours. It was nightmarish.
We wound up re-wiring our network replacing the legacy firewalls with IAAS firewall security groups in a little over an hour and a half and got all 700+ instances back on-line.
