I'd be willing to accept prefix, too, but infix is Bad. Ignoring that operations are functions is bad. (I don't like the implied arities, though.)
It simplifies so many things, even up through calculus. (A lot fewer special cases to memorize for derivatives once you realize that the chain rule applies to everything, etc.)
