Since some people ask about fediverse history here's a resume of what I can more or less remember from the history that I have seen on the fediverse.
Correctly me if I'm wrong or add suggestions.

-Discussion happens lots of enthusiast in a lot of domain even people who don't agree with each other.
-I discover the postActive fork of gnu social exist and prioritize to repair buggy functions of GS.

the trouble doesn't come from the fork but from the maintainer/developer "gargron" who is very rude to everyone
-I discover http://www.fediverse.org/
-Gargron ask for help multiple times, some people help him
-Gargron block his mastodon users from interacting with other GS users that aren't considered worthy
-Gargron insults the people who has helped him
-Gargron comes back for help and gnu social devs help again and makes suggestions
-Gargron ignores suggestions

-Mastodon becomes bigger after multiple twitter refugee migrations
-Instance wide Blocklists begins to be an idea
-Strangely the timeline of mastodon.social isn't the one of mastodon.social but the one of other multiple instances.
-There is no public timeline on mastodon.social
-Mastodon is advertised in the media
-In france it's particularly promoted by Youtube Eceleb "Antoine Daniel" and journals like numerama and nextimpact.
-Enormous flux of people floods the mastodon.social server
-It's strange that a small server suddenly could receive such influx of users
-I discover the datamining that gargron inflicts on his users it's publicly explained here: https://mastodon.social/terms and I'm very angry about that.
-Discover that mastodon.social is on cloudflare
-I subscribe on mastodon.social and explain the problem to some users @azurolu gets the word about it.
-I get silenced on mastodon.social
-Pawoo becomes bigger than mastodon
-Instance wide Blocklists becomes a thing, slanders and defamation are used has a reason for them, some Microsoft dev is partly responsible for that I need your help on that one @fl0wn I've lost the link.
