Thor, the Norseman has moved!They keep renaming the countries. Apparently, Myanmar is just Burma under a new name. I feel that all these renamings say a hell of a lot about how unstable the governments and national identities of these countries are.
Norway hasn't changed its name for about 1000 years. Before the 11th century, there was a strip of coastline known as "the north way" where various Norse tribes had their petty kingdoms. These petty kingdoms later became the counties of the Kingdom of Norway.
