Tonight I finally watched "Everyday Sunshine", the story of the band Fishbone. Honestly it's a complete shame that this band is still laboring in relative obscurity. They're the real deal.
Fortunately you can (re)acquaint yourself with their music on Bandcamp:
(Though it appears you'll have to still find physical media for all of their Columbia releases. Seems Sony still has sticky fingers for a band they dropped in 1994.)

@craigmaloney Fishbone put on some of the greatest "this feels like a huge family" shows I have ever seen, and I have been to a not insignificant number of shows.
