      @zoowar afaik the hierarchical threads option is now a plugin, and it's a bit broken (just the formatting?), if that hasn't changed.

      @zoowar I had some threading issues with my old GS instance - but I think there was a setting buried somewhere.

            @zoowar Friendica's threading is pretty excellent.
            My only complaint is that due to issues, replies sometimes hit the wrong level so you get two things at the same level because of where reply was hit (which is a UI/theme detail).
            
            So - threading is right, but in some themes the replies don't go to the correct event.
