    I'm definitely happy the team will be able to continue focusing on developing Matrix full time, but we need better ways to fund #FOSS. Such funding usually comes attached with expectations and power in the hands of investors, rather than the developers and users.

    It also reminds me when around the time of the Heartbleed bug, it was found that there was only one developer maintaining OpenSSL full time, and the foundation had a budget of $5000 per year.
