I've used Firefox for years because Chrome is Big Brother and IE is crap, and both are more focused on serving web owners and ad providers than the user who installs them.

Looks like Firefox is circling the drain now too. First https://mashable.com/2017/12/16/mr-robot-looking-glass-mozilla-firefox-backlash/ and now https://www.theregister.co.uk/2018/01/29/firefox_to_show_occasional_sponsored_story_in_ads_test/

Looks like I need to start researching the smaller browsers. Any suggestions for something easy to lock down and highly configurable?

Maybe it was a bad idea to hype a show about vigilante hackers by actually messing with people's privacy.

@SirBemrose i am writing my own.
I guess. I don't want ads, nor am I reliant on them to exist for my well-being. That's the issue here. "You want Browser? How you gonna pay for the coding? ADS,"
So...just gonna play with writing my own....
