@matt Fer sure. I’d scratched the same itch for me, though: I wanted a social way to write quick blog posts with minimal friction. Mastodon came along and its default 500 char limit gave me the breathing room Twitter didn’t, and that met my goals. Manton never really explained what Micro.blog *was* (in fact, you’ve reminded me that I think there was supposed to be a book involved somewhere on that Kickstarter) and I entrenched myself here first.
