        @awg probably for the better, yeah. alternative is to get some cheap APU and a new board and upgrade the hardware entirely.

          @roka sounds like a good prospect.  never saw much point in upgrading hardware unnecessarily, esp to gratify the greed of hardware "accelerated" bloat.
