         ah, there's federation issues on quitter.is, for a while now, and I never know if my posts reach people, and it seems it's not too easy to fiy and I'm a bit stuck.

               that's great :-) But on some instances it sometimes takes an hour, or the posts arrive empty or not at all. And I just never know.

                        @kevie @maiyannah sorry, it seems my answers were eaten by quitter.is, or did they arrive? even if there is some trouble now (and sometimes) I'n not ready to leave quitter.is. I'd rather help to keep it ok, even if I can't do much besides reporting errors. I just try to be patient...

                     Thank you but no. :-) @mmn has been checking things and sooner or later we will get to the bottom of this I guess. I'd rather help to keep quitter.is ok by reporting errors and have some bad moments like now. I do have an emergency account but that is not working properly either these days. So I try to be patient....

                        seems my answer got eaten by quitter.is. I said incoming seems pretty fast and complete at the moment, outgoing posts are the problem.

                           @einebienezwo q.is seems to not to be reachable right now … maybe the #backup procedure? (q.se does a backup each night) Or something else?

                              Usually during backup I get an internal server error, today it's "unable to connect" and has been going on longer than the usual backup

                           @einebienezwo GnuSocial has its oddities but that's really ok for me, considering it's a grassroot system, not a billion $ business thing :)

                              yeah, I'm ok with that too, even if I sometimes get a little frustrated. But I like it better that I can actually talk to my admin and try to help to make things better, instead of being a product.

                                 @einebienezwo :-) Also consider, you can talk with admins as humans. If you you ask Twitter "why have I been banned" you get Textbausteine

                                    yep, and I can even talk to admins about Flowers and Volxküchen and stuff. I love it :-)
