but there are two pitfalls that strategy overlooks:
• alienating a chunk of your audience by presenting as the condescending Well Actually Guy/Neil DeGrasse Tyson, but also more importantly
• ceding rhetorical ground to the opposition; if all your energy gets spent correcting the record on stuff reactionaries like to talk about (gender, race, shape of the earth), you can't advance your actual ideas
