      @musicman I'd be surprised, but most of $EMPLOYER's #TechTeam would also have to ask what #IRC is. If it isn't Redmond-made (R), they don't know about it. (Some of them have heard of that scary "Lunix" stuff, but they stay away from places where they might encounter it.)

         sure, but all of our commercial products install only on CentOS and RHEL.
         
         And obviously one guy is not the only reason I am leaving, but it's a sign of the culture here.
