Richard J. Anderson ✅ 🥔To be honest, I don't want an emotional bond with my computer. I has plenty of exposure to early Macs (well, System 6 through 9 Macs), and found the OS to be user-obsequious, and annoying.
Yet, I switched to the Mac right as that transition to a "well-made screwdriver" kicked into gear, and I much prefer my computer to be that. I don't want my computer to intrude on my emotions, I want it to do what I need it to do.
