Demonkind.org@wion I’m on McSweeney’s side in this instance. I feel writing should direct the pacing of the reader, and I use commas, semicolons, dashes, spaces, and em dashes in whatever manner does the subjectively best job of mimicking the flow of speech, or the pauses needed to digest a clause.
