@boneidol yep :-) for reasons unknown they are rather hard to come by (this one is going to be deployed as a temperature sensor in the rack)

with all of the GPIO on the Pi, you could get multiple temp sensors for various places on the rack. How many computers are in the rack? -

currently 4 + a switch but given they are under my desk up against a wall I probably only need one. Then I just measure the temp between them and the wall (there is a 50-75 cm gab there
