I wrote about how white people took native philosophy towards weapons and completely warped it into the toxic gun culture we have today a few weeks ago.
The solution to the mass shooting problems is to fix the culture. Social responsibility and the value of one's peers must be reinforced as much as possible.
Banning specific types of weapons won't solve anything (different weapon types will be used instead). Only solution is to teach empathy and compassion for all as a primary value.

White culture is about hiding your feelings (after all having feelings makes you gay). Native culture is about navigating the world *through* feelings.
Is it any surprise that every school shooting incident has generally been a troubled white kid? Every single one actually.

The reality is the reason why it is this way is because feelings are inconvenient for the parents. It is better to encourage your child to feel nothing, than to have them be rebellious or otherwise assertive.
That works out all peachy until they show up at school and light the place up.
