Henky!!Spend the evening experimenting with AppImage building, i got myself an AppImage that plays any media to my liking and it has the options in the player that i need.
The AppImage isn't entirely to my liking though as its compatibility is quite low, it only runs well on modern ubuntu based systems so i might spend some effort on increasing compatibility by using older packages for the dependencies and adding a couple extra libs that come by default in Ubuntu.
