By the way, how come...no one really seems to be mentioning how just...amateur, Kingdom Come actually looks.
I know I know, 'graphics don't matter, gameplay does' but there's a bunch of pieces about how beautiful it is, and...a remarkable lack of people pointing out the bleeding obvious, that the character models and animations, look very shit.

Yeah, I've noticed that trend of people thinking that environment design...means that all of it looks good. "That's a pretty desktop wallpaper, 10/10 graphics."
Watched some videos of it, and people talking, and some of the general menus, looks worse than Bethesda assets. Which, as noted, just...isn't seeming to be brought up.

@katiekats Course it fucking isn't, its only being given to select people they know will gush, no doubt under specific conditions not to talk about certain things. There's a reason I generally avoid review copies nowadays.

Yeah, the only real complaint I've seen, is that it's quite buggy.
And I mean...so are Bethesda games, and Skyrim has been successful enough that it's re-released more times than we think lewd thoughts about eachother. These days 'it's buggy' obviously don't phase most people reading those reviews.
Which of course they know, that's why it's their cover complaint. The "see we totally aren't biased" crappy excuse.

@katiekats I like to think of graphics like performance, it doesn't matter until it does. Which is to say for me at least graphics are one of the things I don't care about as long as they're not too lousy / old.
