at one of the schools we visited to do workshops and donate instruments there was food in the corner of the classroom- fruit, cereal, and boxes of hot things. I didn't remember having that as a kid and I asked-

The principal explained there is real poverty and they make sure the children eat. They have 700 kids and they feed them breakfast, lunch, and a hot meal to take home.

seven hundred children every day.

I fought back the lump in my throat, and was grateful.
