      I feel like it's possible to do, but I wonder whether the protocol itself is too model-agnostic.

      In theory you could use AP to federate data about anything, and the senders and receivers don't necessarily have to be users.

      Inter-federation between platforms requires recreating endpoints, schema values, object names and URIs in a fashion that is consistent enough to provide reliable communication from system a to system b. Each project must conform to the same methods of utility to work.
