      @kzimmermann I've seen a couple of others who did that. Their stuff just vanishes from the Web (not in reality, but in practical use) and their readers lose access to whatever they continue to write.

      A few months later, people are asking "Whatever happened to so-and-so? I used to visit his/her blog every now and then, but there's nothing there now".

        That's true, P2P platforms tend to "lose" data if it's not updated constantly, but otherwise, they make the hosting problem so easy to deal
