it's funny how a lot of automated academia-related e-mail defaults to "Dr." as form of address (when I am absolutely not a Dr. of any kind, yet)
I mean, it makes sense, it is the safe bet if you know nothing about somebody: nobody ever gets mad at wrongly being called a Dr. when they're not, and it's gender-neutral!
