Why is it that, to get exactly what you want from people, you have to be a complete dick to them?

Roommate couldn't tell me how long our network cables are. I try to get him to approximate the length. He can't, so I tell him to take pictures.

An organisation I'm a member of messes up the AM/PM on their Facebook event. I have to nag them to make them understand the problem. They act annoyed and don't fix it.

I'm precise when I talk and when I listen. Other people don't give a shit. I hate it.
