Ed SummersI'm a big fan of the Web's DIY culture. But I wonder if sometimes we focus too much on the open source technologies that let anyone publish on the web (e.g. https://selfhostedweb.org/ https://indieweb.org/Homebrew_Website_Club) instead of the social hacking needed to form collectives that are more resilient than an individuals DNS registration and server setup. If you have thoughts about that I'd love to hear them.
