#Firefox #Nightly has been running a spectacular experiment on the path to increasing #security of all users..

I shared announcement last week about blocking insecure content in HTTPS https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/mozilla.dev.platform/xjZQq0kEauM

..the Telemetry data is coming in - and it's pretty exciting news for Mozilla's #websecurity team.

In more than 12M connections only 4 reports of breakages.

Effectively upgrading all the connections to HTTPS.

See more at this bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1440709

    1. 1440709 - Nightly is upgrading an insecure display request to using https, without the option to tell it not to, and without backing off to http again if https fails

@david_ross does FF plan to block normal HTTP-only connections or mark them as insecure like chrome is planning to do?
