      That way, kids learn about registration and voting processes, and by the time their votes count, are more likely to understand elections

            @einebiene true. Accurate stats could be published on who would have won an election if votes under the official voting age counted.

         For the record, one good argument for dropping the voting age to 16 is that it's old enough to consent to sex.
