Conversation

Sitting,
in my morning chair,
reading Dostoevsky
and
Bradbury
and Teju Cole
and Dylan
Thomas...
I unfocus my stare
and in this distant reading
I see hills and hollars
of sentences
and
paragraphs
and
punctuation
and
white space paths.
Monumental.
I could never raise
these up.
Is it enough
to climb and walk them?
Will this suffice?
