@purplehippo @maiyannah "It's one thing to say "well they're not breaking our community standards" (in which case I might still consider an instance block but I can at least respect the position of having your own social norms that they are conforming to) but it's a whole other to just go on all this stupid othering "we dont care about GNU social" shit they do.  Irrespective of size (which is a fallacious argument anyways), we're still a part of the network, and as a bit of an aside, it's quite telling to me how egregious many of these people become when they're no longer the minority and have the power to oppress others.  For many, its never about actually ending oppressive behaviours or trends, they want to be the one in the position of power.
