Our childcare centre uses an app to keep in touch. It's lovely to get updates about my daughter's day, especially since the new centre she's at is a community-run not-for-profit that really pays attention to each kid's personality and identity.

The other day, an update was about how they played French music: she instantly lit up and pointed at the speaker saying "Papa!", showed it to other kids and danced. Of course I cried. Of course I'm crying again.
