BBC News is very careful propaganda, typically by omission - it often gives "facts" without sufficient context or background (e.g. NHS winter crisis - doesn't address *why* the NHS is suffering a winter crisis). Yemen reporting gives no mention of the fact that the Saudi government is UK/US-backed. Syria reporting gives no mention of the fact that anti-Assad "resistance fighters" are often radical islamists backed up by Western arms and training. Or it just repeats government propaganda without question. I could go on.

@maiyannah @purplehippo @bob Also the careful use of language by BBC and much MSM. Governments hostile to western interests are "régimes", while despotic governments who are our allies are "governments".
