      @Shadejackrabbit People were talking about Facebook being a new walled-garden, a la AOL, back when it was still new and exciting. But, somehow, even many those us who had been listening just slowly got deeper and deeper in. We almost forgot what the open web was. We almost forgot that the Internet was larger than Facebook. Only almost, though, and now we're finally waking up and starting to remember.
