      @kuro Good article but I believe that agriculture intensification as a threat to biodiversity is a global threat, not only an European one. I do not think that it is, therefore caused by subsidies. In fact, without subsidies, there would be even more incentive to intensify agriculture! (or abandon it, but wildlife species that live in agricultural landscapes are currently the ones showing the worse population trends).
      I think that the european subsidy policy is an oportunity to make agriculture more sustainable. An oportunity that its being wasted though.
