Signal 4.17.5 has been released, get it on Play or on https://signal.org/android/apk/

Improvements:
* BACKUPS are back! It is somewhat hidden though under Settings -> Chats & Media -> scroll down to the far bottom
* Unlock the app with your fingerprint (convenient so you can set a shorter locking time)
* Lock registering your phone number by setting a pin (depends on your threat level, probably good for investigative journalists et alii)
* Customs notifications for each chat
