#Mastodon friends: Can you separately set a CW on your toots and mark them as sensitive? If yes, do you regularly do both? If yes, why?

The reason I ask is that Mastodon tacks on the #nsfw hashtag on outgoing posts marked as "sensitive" to #Friendica. I have a local filter that collapses posts with the #nsfw hashtag and lately it's been triggered by random posts about politics and technology that have been marked as "sensitive" and protected by a CW.
