bitey cat bite bite bite bite@Elizafox @viomi @chr xmpp is probably the dodgiest chat protocol ive ever used, XMPP+OTR was a huge flying machine made out of 0days and buggy libraries glued together with the programming equivalent of spent motor oil. all the clients were really bad except that one android one. multidevice was hilarious because you never knew if you were sending to your firends offline devices and even OMEMO was wonky because youd end up using the persons *other* key without knowing it.
