Today's example: a podcast hosting service called Opinion, which I used for an inconsequential "personal" podcast I had produced.
I knew that paying $5 for the app, no other fees, and to have all the content hosted on Amazon S3 simply wasn't going to add up to something with a long term future.
Today was the day they apparently came to terms with that reality and are shutting down in a month. Shocked it took them almost 3 years.
