Comparing the ages of enlightenment of Europe and India (of-course both are from different centuries) the inquiry behind Indian enlightenment was dominated by spiritual & meta-physical i.e in other words Idealism and thus considered the world as Maya (illusion) whereas the inquiry behind the European enlightenment is that of questioning the absolute power, authority and seeking truth through practice (i.e science) and thus a mix of both Idealism and Materialism which led to the .....(continued)

The struggle against the English forces (i.e which is a battle in the material world) induced the consciousness of majority of our society.
