If capitalism is the most efficient way of distributing resources, why are so many people starving to death when the world produces enough food to feed literally everyone? Why are so many houses sitting empty while people are forced to sleep on the street and freeze to death each winter?

I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but it frustrates me so much that people buy into the "capitalist markets are efficient" argument.
