I suspect that quote was used as a rhetorical device, so it could be used as a pull quote by people who don't fully analyze all the implications. Like me.
@maiyannah @bobjonkman if you're a gay man, and not on FB, then you don't meet a lesbian willing to be a babyfarm for you and your husband. You would have to add a lot of disclaimers to that paragraph to cover all possible edge cases, but the implication remains that FB is now a force in "natural" selection *shudder*
